Extreme Credit Repair - Getting Your Mind Right

Before I get into the logistics of explaining how to improve your credit score, I’d like to discuss the importance of getting your mind right. Now let me forewarn you that I’m going to be extremely straightforward and direct with my personal views. Please understand that in no way am I attempting to offend. Ok, here we go.

There is a subset of the population who get into debt because of legitimate hardship. They have a family illness, mom or dad loses their job, or they make a bad investment. They usually have decent financial fundamentals with middle class income. Most of the “help me get out of debt products” you may see advertised are directly targeting this group. The reason they target this group is because although overextended, this group usually have some resources in the form of credit or maybe home equity. If I just described you, this article is not for you -- go ahead and skip to my next article. This article is for the people who’ve hit credit rock bottom and they don’t know what their next step is. If you’re unsure of whether you’ve hit credit rock bottom, keep reading.

Now back to getting your mind right. You have to know that you’re in control of your own situation and they you can ultimately fix your credit no matter how bad. Let me repeat that, you have the power to fix your credit, no matter how bad. I will show you, step by step, how to do so but you must fully commit for it to work. By committing you need to ignore the “coddling” by your family, friends, and the media. For the purposes of continuing, whether the excuse is valid hardship, a series of bad decisions, or aliens stole your identity – they’re all irrelevant at this point.

The fact that you’re reading this article proves that you’ve started to acknowledge you have an extreme credit repair problem now you must charge what got you to this point to experience. Let me take a quick sec to explain “charge it to life” because I will often use this phrase. Every single individual in the history of mankind have made mistakes, the difference between the successful and the non-successful is that the successful learn from their mistakes, “charge those mistakes to experience”, and they get on living to make new experiences.

I will describe the important of establishing goals, developing a plan, detailed strategy, & milestone checks. I will describe all of these steps in coming articles & posts in the form of specific actions and examples to repair your extreme credit condition.

Until next time, remember to always have an Attitude of Gratitude and Positive Expectation.
